Museums in Motion Royston Museum

Twelve young people aged between 10 – 18 years old are working with makeAMPLIFY (dancer Jennifer Irons and audio-visual artist Zach Walker) to make a new film installation for the museum.  The project includes movement/dance and sound/film recordings to explore the heritage of mobile phone functions.

Installation launch (private viewing for invited audience): Friday 16 November 2018
Installation runs: Saturday 17 November to Saturday 29 December 2018 (Opening Times
Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm)

Museums in Motion is run in partnership with six Hertfordshire Museums, managed by BEEE Creative CIC, with artistic direction from makeAMPLIFY, with thanks to money raised by National Lottery players and awarded to the project by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
