Improvising Generations

An intergenerational dance and music project with Hertfordshire Music Service, helping people overcome loneliness and social isolation by offering:

  • Monthly group activities to come together to socialise with others, exercise and create dance, music and film work together.
  • Six outdoor events at sites across Hertfordshire, to engage communities with local green spaces.

Latest News from Improvising Generations

Improvising Generations workshops are now up and running monthly at Trestle Arts Base and include dance and music sessions for people of all ages from 14+ years old.  There will also be 5 week-long projects to look forward to in parks and outdoor spaces across Hertfordshire.

Improvising Generations is funded by The National Lottery Fund ‘Building Connections Fund’, thanks to funding from both Her Majesty’s Government (HMG) and National Lottery players.
