Latest News from Dance Re:Ignite
We are now moving into a new phase of activity, with much to look forward to over the next eight months.
We are currently recruiting adults as dancers for a new commission with Tim Casson and Tom Butterworth. The work created will tour to community venues in Hertfordshire in Spring 2020. See examples of Casson and Friends work by visiting their website: http://www.cassonandfriends.com/projects
For dance practitioners we have further training coming up with Green Candle Dance Company (choreography with older adults), Filipa Pereira-Stubbs (dance in hospital settings) and a first aid course. We have now started a network group that offers peer-to-peer mentoring and support, so please contact us if you would like to be involved.
Dance Re:Ignite has been made possible by an Arts Council England Project Grant. Additional support from: Hertfordshire Music Service, Welwyn Hatfield Council, Watford Borough Council, Dacorum Borough Council and local County Councillor Locality Budget and Community budget support. Produced in partnership with Hertfordshire Sports Partnership, Dacorum Community Dance, The Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead, Saracens Sports Foundation and Watford Museum.
