A-MUSE (Arts in Museums) is a programme of fun, creative dance workshops for families in Hertfordshire museums.

A-MUSE: Family Dance Workshops at Stevenage Museum are returning in 2021, and we would love for your family to join us! The free, monthly workshops offer creative dance with a heritage theme, with each session combining music, movement and storytelling for children and their supporting adults to dance together.

This year we are introducing A-MUSE: Stevenage Online for February and March, bringing the creative dance games and explorations to your home, via Zoom. Dance artist Hannah Delaney will lead you through the 45 minute online sessions, with some guided movement, as well as creative tasks set that will allow you to play with ideas around your home.

Ideas explored in these online workshops will be connected to a larger project planned for March, Dancing in Light, that will creatively combine dance and photography, focused on the play between movement and light - more info about this project to follow!

This project is funded by Arts Council of England Project Grant.
