Friday 28, Saturday 29 Monday 31 July and Tuesday 1 August 2017,

10:00am – 4:00pm daily

makeAMPLIFY, dancer Jennifer Irons and audio-visual artist Zach Walker, will lead a four-day residency in the museum offering participants the opportunity to develop choreography, film and music skills.  Exploring the question, ‘What’s inside my mobile phone?’ the museum collections will be used to see what items were used before things like online photo sharing, instant messaging and search engines!

The aim of the workshops is to create a live performance installation at the museum to be presented as a work-in-progress on the last day, as a film installation at the museum in September and finally as part of Museums at Night in October.
