We’ve had a great summer being back in Watford and Stevenage Museums working with 22 young people and families who became dancers, film-makers, directors and curators in order to create Performed Transformed.
Jennifer Irons and Zach Walker from makeAMPLIFY have worked with the group to explore the question, ‘What is inside your mobile phone?’ and thinking about how mobile technology affects the way we live and interact with the world. All the work developed will be crafted into two films and a live performance event.
You will be able to watch the films created at each museum and online from 14 September right up to the final performance. Visit the Museums in Motion page to keep up-to-date with events.
There will be two presentations of Performed Transformed at Stevenage Museum on Thursday 26 October at 5.30pm and 6.30pm. The performance is being presented as part of the national Museums at Night programme. The event is free to attend but tickets must be booked in advance.
